Almost one third (30%) of all women who have been in a relationship have experienced physical and/or sexual violence by their intimate partner. The world has made significant progress in combating epidemics since the beginning of the 21st century, but one thing is sure - that certain global public health issues like HIV/AIDS remains standing. Rape is one of the most terrible crime on earth. For every 2.5 minutes of freedom that you enjoy a female screams for help because she is being raped. The problem with people who deal with rape is that they try to educate women about how to defend themselves. What really needs to be done is teaching men not to rape.

For 75 years, the United Nations has made a normative impact in our world, ensuring peace and togetherness. The UN Day marks the anniversary of the entry into force in 1945 of the UN Charter, a day that the UN came into being, the theme for this year's commemoration is "Shaping Peace Together".

Women make up only 28% of the workforce in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), and men vastly outnumber women majoring in most STEM fields in college. The gender gaps are particularly high in some of the fastest-growing and highest-paid jobs of the future, like computer science and engineering.
